A trademark that is registered or for which registration has been filed shall may be assigned or transferred by succession of that trademark, with or without the firm to which it belongs; or it may be licensed to one or more third parties for working the trademark. For transfers and licenses take effect against thirds, they must be recorded with the competent national office. A transfer and/or license, in order to be registered, shall be in writing.

Requirements for recording a transfer or license:
Applicant's name.
Transfer or license document duly notarized and legalized up to Peruvian Consul. In case of transfer, our form No.4 can be used, thus the Power of Attorney will not longer be necessary.
A Power of Attorney of the new owner duly legalized which must certify the signatory representation.

Applicant's name.
A certified copy issued by the Company Registry duly legalized up to Peruvian Consul.
